Don't worry, you have the whole weekend to catch up on your sleep!

Memorable moments

Siberia here we come!

Where did our raft go? I could have sworn it was here a few seconds ago.
Perhaps the Loch Ness took it??

Day Three- Braving the elements, camp songs and raft building

Year 8 have had incredible two days of trekking, camping and all round exciting challenges.

Here is a selection of Year 8's highlights so far.....

This is my first ever school trip and it was great. I’ve tried things that I’ve never tried before, like raft building, camping, trekking and abseiling. I was scared at first, especially when we were abseiling. It was really high and I was nervous, but I made it and I can’t describe how happy I was! This is a great trip for it has given me so much experience. - Tue Minh Nguyen

From my point of view, I think that my favourite thing in Dalat is the scenery. Despite foot aches and heavy packs, the scenery was still breathtaking. -Thanh Tran

The highlight of the Dalat residential trip so far was the razorback trek (10km).Although it was very tiring, I liked it because I had all my friends supporting me to finish the trek. Everyone took time to trek up, however, with the motivation and jokes of all my friends, it made it all worthwhile. Not only my friends encouraged me to complete the trek as fast as I could but even the teachers were amazing with their jokes during the trek. All in all the razorback trek was amazing.- Simran Tandur

My favourite moment so far has been roasting marshmallows over a warm bonfire till they had a crispy skin and were gooey inside. It was truly delectable, especially after the hardships of physical exercise. The highlight of the trip! - Emily Widjaja

Day 2

Both groups of students have had a great day in the open air, overcoming fears and challenges.

Group A and B outside the hotel before the day's activities

Group A have set off on their camping adventure, and have worked hard to complete a long trek and a raft-building activity.  The students enjoyed their day and are now settling down to a well-deserved meal, and campfire games.

Group B overcame fears to complete a challenging abseiling course, followed by a trek through the beautiful Langbiang hills.  They have just enjoyed a pizza evening, and are competing in teams in a series of group games before bed.

Members of Group B take jeeps to their abseiling point

Teachers and guides were impressed by the students' bravery!
